Four-time Rwandan Champions Patriots basketball club have signed Nikola Scekic, a Serbian center, marking a significant addition to their roster.
The 28-year-old center arrives with a wealth of experience, having most recently showcased his skills for MBK Baník Handlová in the Slovakian Extraliga. Scekic has also previously had a taste of African basketball, with stints in Morocco and Libya.

He is set to make his debut against REG Basketball in a highly anticipated league derby on Friday, March 15.
The upcoming clash, touted as one of the most significant in local basketball, is slated to tip-off at 8 pm at Lycée de Kigali (LDK) gymnasium.
Both teams enter the matchup undefeated this campaign, boasting five wins in as many games.
REG currently occupies the second spot on the table with 10 points, level with Patriots, who are placed third. The two sides are only separated by point differences, adding further intrigue to the showdown.
Scekic joins the likes of Kenneth Gasana, William Perry, and Frank Kamdoh in Patriots' recent recruitment drive, bolstering the team's prospects for the season.
Meanwhile, REG has secured the services of American point guard Antino Jackson.
The 28-year-old, standing at five feet eleven inches, adds depth to REG's lineup, bringing his experience from his tenure with Siauliai in the Lithuanian betsafe LKL league.
