Mukura vs APR

Azam Rwanda Premier League giants APR and archrivals Mukura lock horns this afternoon at Huye stadium today. The game starts at 3:30pm.

According to the APR’s Serbian coach Ljubomir 'Ljupko' Petrovic, the clash against the Huye-based Mukura is a must-win as the military seeks to unseat table leaders AS Kigali. The latter face Etincelles in another league clash this afternoon, at Umuganda stadium in Rubavu district.

Ahead of today’s match-day 23 fixtures, APR stand second with 41 points, one point adrift of the City of Kigali-sponsored side. Kiyovu are third with 38 points while Rayon Sports sit in fourth with 36 points and three games at hand.

"We need to consistently keep winning, only keeping the momentum can guide us to the league title we want. Mukura is a very dangerous opponent at home, my player know it and they are ready to do the needful.” Petrovic told Times Sport on Wednesday.

Elsewhere today, fifth-placed Amagaju FC will be hosting struggling Miroplast at Nyagisenyi playground in Nyamagabe district.
