Rwandan 'Gakondo' singer Ibrahim Cyusa, is celebrating five years of musical journey with a major concert scheduled for June 8.
The event, dubbed 'Migabo Live Concert', follows some of Cyusa's successful shows around the world, including his just-concluded show in Newcastle on February 24.

Speaking to The New Times, the vocalist revealed that he joined the music industry professionally in 2019, after leaving other walks of life.
"It has been a smooth journey but the future is even brighter. The concert will be a lifetime experience, showcasing the richness of our culture and traditional music," Cyusa said, adding that more details about the show will be shared soon.
During his five years in music, Cyusa has produced and remixed many traditional songs such as 'Imparamba,' 'Rwanda Nkunda,' 'Migabo' and many others, making him one of the most popular traditional music artistes in Rwanda.
Cyusa, 35, is Stromae's half-brother, the latter also a singer known for hits like 'Papaoutai', 'Alors on danse', 'Formidable', 'Racine carrée' and others.

Cyusa rose to fame through his 'Friday Live' sets at Grand Legacy Hotel, dubbed 'Cyusa Ninkera', which attracted a large number of music lovers in the city, before embarking on a solo music career in 2019.
He is also expected to release an album this year.
