Agence pour la Sécurité de la Navigation Aérienne (ASECN) en Afrique et à Madagascar has launched a fully funded scholarship competition in the field of air traffic control.

"The ASECNA Representative to the Republic of Rwanda informs the public that a fully funded scholarship competition will be organised for training at the African School of Meteorology and Civil Aviation (EAMAC) in Niamey in the field of Air Traffic Control,” ASECNA said in an announcement.

Successful candidates, it said, "will be employed by ASECNA upon completing a two-year training.” Potential candidates are requested to register online at www.eamac.ne.
The standards for participating in the selection include being between 21 and 29 years of age by January 1, 2024. The candidate, according to the call, must have at least completed two years of university or have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field, or hold a polytechnic diploma.

The online registration deadline is slated for March 22, 2024. The date of the written test for selected candidates is scheduled for June 3-4, 2024.
