Seventy-three people have expressed interest in the vacant Rwanda Football Federation secretary-general job.
Among those who applied include former APR Academy coach Régis Uwayezu, former referee Gervais Munyanziza, and Olivier Gakwaya, who was the secretary-general of Rayon Sports from 2012-2016.
FERWAFA spokesperson Bonnie Mugabe told Times Sport that interviews will be conducted on May 15 and a new secretary-general announced on June 1.
Emmanuel Habineza, who had been appointed secretary-general in January, resigned last month citing personal reasons.
The coveted job comes with a net monthly pay of Rwf1.5 million, in addition to bonuses and allowances.
Since 1995, Rwanda Football Federation has had six secretary-generals, namely; Celestin Musabyimana, Jules Kalisa, Michel Gasingwa, Jean-Olivier Mulindahabi, Latifah Tharcille Uwamahoro, and Emmanuel Habineza.
