DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Gisagara will face APR while Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will be up against University of Tourism, Technology and Tourism Studies (UTB) in the volleyball national league playoffs which get underway May 5. 

Gisagara beat REG on Tuesday to finish at the summit after two rounds of the league with 44 points, while REG finished in second with 39 points after IPRC-East failed to show up for their last matches against Gisagara and REG in Gisagara gymnasium.

REG lost to Gisagara 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, and 25-14). This means table toppers Gisagara will meet fourth-placed APR at Gisagara gymnasium while REG will host UTB at Amahoro Indoor Stadium, with Gisagara later visiting APR and UTB facing REG.

UNIK finished in sixth place with 16 points and IPRC-South in eighth with a paltry 4 points.
