On International Women’s Day (IWD), SKOL Brewery Ltd proudly celebrated the remarkable achievements of women within the company, and the empowering partnership with Rayon Sports Women Football Club, a team that has consistently delivered outstanding results since its founding.

The celebration organised at the brewery’s premises brought together women employees and management of SKOL, and Rayon Sports Women FC’s team and management, and they discussed different topics including women’s development and empowerment.

This year’s IWD theme "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress” and the campaign theme of "Inspire Inclusion” are highly aligned with both SKOL’s and Rayon Sports’ commitment to fostering gender equality and accelerating progress within the Rwandan community.

Gender equality and empowerment are valued highly at SKOL Brewery. Women play pivotal roles across the supply chain, from production and distribution to management and leadership at SKOL Brewery Limited. Their expertise and perspectives enrich the business, contributing to the strength of the economy.

SKOL Brewery’s collaboration with Rayon Sports Women Football Club is a good example of its dedication to progress and inclusion. Investing in the women’s football club is a testament to the brewery’s commitment to fostering equal opportunities in all aspects of society.

To inspire inclusion, SKOL’s collective action focuses on women’s economic empowerment, promoting diverse talent, giving employees and their children access to high-quality education and training, enhancing participation and achievement in sports, and addressing other areas supporting women’s advancement.
