POET’S CORNER: ALONE IN THE DARK
Thursday, April 19, 2018
Wilderness in the darkness
Taught me how to be brutal
Snatched away all my sympathy and sewed in me seeds of apathy.
It held me tight in bondage
And turned me into a slave of vanity, lust, rape and murder
Wandering in the streets
No bulb or candle can illuminate my inner personality
It seems the reality is the past
And the past is the reality to me.
I argue my conscious with anger whenever I’m told to change and stop being a loser
And I allow the devilish whispering voices with a ghost smile between my teeth to blur my focus
But being young is an opportunity
It does not last forever,
So I shouldn’t act stupidly because I at least know that
The end of suffering does not judge suffering so there will be no end to suffering.
