Dear Editor,

I would like to thank students from private institutions for undergoing  civic education training programme (Ingando) at Nkumba, Burera district. This the first time students have gone through this.

In the past only government-sponsored students in public institutions have  been training. It is therefore good that at the end of the training, the youth pledged to fight the genocide ideology while promoting unity.

This implies that they are set to become flag bearers for the positive change the current leadership is struggling to spearhead.
