Peace cup holders, APR FC will play against Bugesera in the Peace Cup quarter-finals, on June 5 with the return set for June 19.

The military side reached the quarter final stage after a 4-0 aggregate win over La Jeunesse. APR won the first leg 3-0 and was held to a goalless draw in the second leg at Mumena Stadium on Friday.

"Every match ahead of us will be a must win if we are to proceed to the final. We want to give our best because the teams that are still in this competition are good sides,” APR coach Ljubomir Petrovic said.

Meanwhile Bugesera head coach Thierry Hitimana who eliminated SC Kiyovu believes that his side can do better against tournament favourites APR.

"My team will be boosted by the fact that we eliminated SC Kiyovu which is a big team but our ultimate objective is to beat APR and we are lucky that we got a home draw in the first leg,” Hitimana said.

However Hitimana will be wary of the fact that APR beat Bugesera comfortably over two legs last year.

The biggest fixture in the last eight will pit the winner between Azam Rwanda Premier League champions Rayon Sports and Etincelles against the 2015 winners, Police FC.

The Etincelles- Rayon Sports tie was postponed due to the latter’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Other matches will pit Marines against Sunrise while Amagaju will host Mukura.
