Unbeaten APR Basketball club continue their championship defense as they look to maintain their perfect start to the season when they face United Generation Basketball (UGB) in Wednesday’sRwanda Basketball League encounter at Lycee de Kigali Gymnasium.
The army side resumes the quest for the domestic league title after a successful 10-day training camp in Doha, Qatar, where they were preparing for the forthcoming Sahara Conference group phase games that will take place in May in Dakar, Senegal.
APR have lost a single game so far this season after two rounds of matches that they played so far and club head coach Mazen Trakh told Times Sport that they want to maintain their winning run when they face UGB who registered two wins in their last three outings.

"We want to win all our games; it will be tough away but we are looking forward to setting a record”.
On the other side, UGB coach Yves Murenzi acknowledges that the odds are against his side but he insists his players are in good shape and will do everything possible for a positive result.

"We are facing APR this Wednesday, our target is to put up a strong fight and win the game,” Murenzi said.
Elsewhere, REG play Kigali Titans at the same venue at 6pm.
