CAF U-20 qualifier Kenya Vs Rwanda
Junior Wasps coach Vincent Mashami says his team will not be playing the cautions game when they take on Kenya in first leg of the 2019 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier this afternoon at Machakos stadium in Kenya.
"We are not going to sit back and defend but attack from the very first minute. We want to play an offensive game to ensure we progress to the second round. The players are looking very sharp and are motivated to get a good result,” Mashami said
Mashami believes that Junior Wasps players will give their best and avoid making unnecessary mistakes and he is expecting them to carry that confidence from their warm games against Azam Premier league sides Police and SC Kiyovu.
The Under-20 team departed for Nairobi on Friday morning and held two training sessions.
The winner between Rwanda and Kenya will face defending champions Zambia in the second Round slated for between May 11 and May 13.
The final qualifying round will be staged in July with the winner earning slots to next year’s Africa U-20 Cup of Nations finals tournament in Niger.
