Japan ‘93 U-17 World Cup winning coach, Fanny Amun remains adamant that under-20 national team, Flying Eagles’ coach, Issah Ladan Bosso must be retained to lead the squad to Rwanda for the African Youth Championship (AYC) in January.

The Nigeria Football Association one-time acting secretary-general maintained in an interview with brilafm.net that it would be counter-productive to give Bosso the boot, with just few weeks to the competition.

"You people should stop calling for the sack of the coach. WAFU was a testing ground again for him. If there are deficiencies, let’s make him efficient.

"A coach in the national team has to be made efficient because, where he is deficient, things cannot go right and no one should blame him for it,” The Transformer of Talents stressed.
