AS KIGALI will be looking to win and remain in the title race when they face Amagaju FC today in Azam Rwanda Premier League at Nyagisenyi stadium in Nyamagabe District.

Eric Nshimiyimana’s team is third on the log with 23 points and a win will take them above leaders Rayon Sports, who will not play their game against Sunrise due to the CAF Champions league.

Nshimiyimana said, "We are ready for the game, all our players are available, we don’t have any injuries and I am hoping for a positive result.”

"Amagaju are very tricky opponents, especially at their stadium. They are one of the difficult sides to play against, but we have to be confident because we want to remain in the race for the title,” added Nshimiyimana.

His counterpart, Pablo Nduwimana, whose side is sitting in 12th place with 13 points, said his team will look to upset AS Kigali.

"We are playing at home. We want to win and move up the table. We are ready physically and mentally,” he added.

Other title hopefuls Police, in fifth place with 22 points will host Bugesera at Kicukiro Stadium, while Kirehe will host Etincelles.
