Dear Editor,

Through you, I would like to congratulate our dear hero Rose Kabuye upon being granted the opportunity to come back home to her family and beloved country.

For long we have cried tears and begged God to free our mother and liberator from the hands of those merciless accusers. It is not good enough that they are not dropping the case completely but at least we will have you here with us.

We shall not stop condemning the false accusations that France and Germany have subjected to our innocent citizens and I believe that we shall instead fight harder to let our voices be heard.

As we welcome our Rose back home, I would like to thank all the Rwandans like me who never gave up on protesting her arrest.

Many of us spent sleepless nights at the German Embassy but I believe it has all not been in vain. Gone are the days when Rwandans had divisions among themselves. I am glad that we now can stand together in unity.

Welcome back home our beloved Rose.
