Burundi’s Big Fizzo and Eddy Kenzo from Uganda are expected to grace Platini P’s 14 years in music concert celebration slated for March 30 in Kigali.
Dubbed ‘Baba Experience’, the concert will take place at Camp Kigali, marking the celebration of Platini P’s three-year solo music journey, and an almost 14-year contribution with his former music band Dream Boys to Rwanda’s music industry.
The New Times understands that Platini P, real name Platini Nemeye, has already confirmed Big Fizzo and Eddy Kenzo as foreign performers for the upcoming concert, which will also have local artistes on the lineup.

"Yes, it is true that Big Fizzo and Eddy Kenzo will be here for my celebration. The event means a lot to me and my fans. I can’t wait to celebrate a successful journey that I dedicate to everyone who pushed me over the course,” the singer told The New Times.
Kenzo and Platini have been friends for a long time with hit collaborations including ‘Toroma’ and ‘No One Like Me’ which was produced when the artiste was still part of the Dream Boys duo.
Apart from the two regional stars, The New Times has also learnt that Urban Boys, a group that has not been seen in music for a long time, among many other local stars, will also perform during the concert.

Platini and TMC created lasting musical memories in Rwanda during their tenure as Dream Boys, with winning the Primus Guma Guma Super Star contest standing out as their most significant accomplishment as a pair.
Platini embarked on a solo music career in 2020 after parting ways with TMC, real name Jean-Claude Mujyanama, who relocated to the United States of America.
He has since released a couple of chart-topping hits, such as ‘Shumuleta’, ‘Atansiyo’, ‘Veronika’, ‘Ntibabehanze’ ft. Singer Butera Knowless and many others.
