The Children and Youth Organisation has intensified efforts to promote involvement of children in different categories of sports.

The Chairman of Children and Youth Organization, Nelson Mukasa said they provide the basics for children (5-12 years) in every game during holidays. "We started last year and the target is to promote youth in sports and to give good basics and techniques to the children,” Mukasa said.

He also said that the organization is not an academy, but partners with different federations in Rwanda.

"We want to produce the big names in Rwandan sports and we have high hopes that we will achieve our target. It gives me great pleasure to work with these young and talented players every day,” he noted.

The organization works in partnership with Ministry of Education, Ministry of Sports and Culture (MINISPOC), National Olympic Committee and National commission for Children.
