He may have just one song to his name but Dice’s musical talent is seen by everyone who got the chance to listen to his first song ‘For You’ released on Saturday, October 1.
The audio was made by producer Ayoo Rush and its visuals were directed by 2Saints.
Born Prince Murasanyi, Dice is a Rwandan songwriter, and composer based on afro-pop, afro-fusion, and RnB. He is a new talented and promising music brand.
Dice was born in 2003 in Gasabo District, the first of three children, and grew up with strong music goals from a young age, with a passion to perform on the big stage.
In an interview with The New Times, Dice said that he started singing at younger helped by his mother.
He said:” I fell in love with music at a young age because of my mother, who used to teach him to sing gospel songs.”
Dice attended nursery school at junior nursery school and he continued his primary education at EPAK (Don Bosco)
In high school, he studied at IFAK in Kigali, Rwanda.
He started singing in Kimihurura Choir in Kigali at the age of 12.
Dice is working hard to take his music to the next level, with the goal of becoming one of the country’s top artists in a matter of years, and he feels he has what it takes to fulfill his goals.
Talking about how he felt after releasing his first song (For You) as a professional musician, the singer said that it is extremely unbelievable.
"For me I’ve started living the life of my dreams,” Dice said.
He added: "I’m very happy and grateful to everyone who made these things happen, I dreamt about this since when I was a child I think that my dream is coming true.”
Asked if he is signed under any management label Dice said that he is an independent artiste, but he hopes to have a big team around him.
The future
Dice said he is working hard to do the best he can to take his music to another level with the target of writing his name among the top musicians in the country in as few years and he believes he has what it takes to achieve his ambitions.
"The fact that people admire my talent gives me hope and confidence to do better and I’ve got support from the team around me. I am hopeful that the future is bright,” he said.
