Uncle Austin eyes juicy deal from Diamond Platnumz

Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz was in Rwanda last weekend to launch his business, visit charities, and checkout a number of prime properties on sale around Kigali.

During his visit, the musician met with a few local artistes, and radio and television presenters. We are told that this was part of the singer’s plan to share his experience with local artistes. But as it turns out, some may have picked more than just a few notes from the singer during his stay. One of them is KFM’s Uncle Austin. We are told that the radio presenter might be in the middle of negotiating a deal with the artiste. Word has it that Austin wants to be the singer’s manager in Rwanda, and once the deal is sealed, Austin will promote Diamond’s music in Rwanda.

The discussion emerged when Austin invited the Tanzanian musician to his evening talk show to chat about his plans in Rwanda. Diamond revealed that he wanted to expand his music initiatives, including his studio, Wasafi Records, which Austin says is ready for its Rwandan debut. Will this deal come to light? Umutoniwase gives birth to twins

2017 Miss Rwanda participant Belinda Umutoniwase has given birth to twin girls, a source close to her tells us.

News of the delivery stirred conversation, as she delivered just four months after getting married.

Uwase was among the final 15 Miss Rwanda contestants last year. We wish her and her family the best.

Is Shaddy Boo pregnant?

2018 kicked off on a scandalous note for her, some would say. She was first linked to Diamond Platnumz when photos of her and the artiste, shirtless, hit social media. However, socialite Shaddy Boo dismissed the rumours saying they are ‘just friends.’ She was then rumoured to be dating Tanzanian rapper AY, but that was never confirmed either.

Now, word on the street is that Shaddy, real name Shadia Mbabazi, is pregnant. Sources say that the socialite was impregnated by a city tycoon whose identity is yet to be confirmed. Shaddy hasn’t confirmed or dismissed the rumours yet.

The socialite has two daughters with music producer Meddy Saleh.

Nizigiyimana proposes to fiance 

Former Rayon Sports football player, Abdul Karim Nizigiyimana, better known as Makenzi, is rumoured to be joining the marriage institution. We are told that the athlete proposed to a lady identified as Nadjma Mutuyimana, whom close friends say have been in a relationship for some time now. We are told that the wedding will take place two months from now.

Mutuyimana is said to be a video vixen, and featured in Uncle Austin’s Ndamuhamagara.

Word has it that she was once in a relationship with Burundian singer Big Fizzo.

Who attacked Mowzey Radio?

As most people already know, Ugandan musician Moses Ssekibogo, better known by his stage name Mowzey Radio, was hospitalised this week following a bar brawl in which he sustained serious injuries.

The artiste was reportedly beaten severely by revellers at Club Bar in Entebbe on Monday night. A fight broke out at the bar, involving Radio and the managers of the bar.

During the scuffle, Radio was hit and fell to the ground. He suffered severe injuries to his head and was rushed to hospital.

According to Ugandan media houses, the singer was rushed to Case Hospital where he was admitted after the injuries left him in a coma. Although the real culprit took off, a suspect in Police custody is said to be helping to find him.

Sources tell us another suspect was arrested and that the two are being held at Entebbe Police Station.
