Sorwathe FC will be looking to pick three points against Gasabo United on Saturday to maintain a grip on top in Pool A of the second division league.
Rulindo district-based Sorwathe FC lead Pool A with 22 points from ten matches, two points ahead of Pepinierre FC and a further four better than Rwamagana City in third place. Gasabo United are in 8th place with 12 points from nine matches.
Sorwathe FC head coach Comrade Banamwana disclosed on Thursday that he has no injuries in his squad but warned his players against any complacency as he targets to stay top at the halfway mark of the season.
"It’s important that we win and stay on the top of the table at the half way stage. It won’t be easy against Gasabo but my players know what is at stake and will come into the game to win,” said Banamwana.
Elsewhere in Pool A, Pepinierre will be away to seventh-place Aspor FC, Unity SC in fourth place, will host Esperance at PC Ndera playgrounds while Rwamagana City and Nyagatare face-off at Rwamagana Police ground.
