Pepiniere coach calls for consistency after win

Pepiniere FC head coach Jean Paul Muhoza has urged his payers to maintain their winning form following the 8-1 win against Akagera in the second division league match played on Sunday at Ruyenzi ground.

The side which was relegated from the Azam Rwanda Premier League last season after only one season, is in second place with 20 points, while Sorwathe lead Pool A with 22 points.

Patrick Dukundane netted the opening goal in the 13th minute before Mudasiri Twagiramungu scored twice in 32nd and 35th minutes.

Christopher Safari hit a hat trick after scoring in 38th, 42nd and 51st minute to make it six.

However, Jacques Ahishakiye and Patrick Ishimwe netted other two goals in 59th and 72nd minutes while Akagera’s Jean Paul Kagire scored the consolation goal in the 40th minute.

"I have to encourage my players to remain consistent and try to get as many points on board as possible,” Muhoza said.

Intare FC is leading Pool A with 24 points after humiliating UR Huye 8-1 at Kamena ground, while As Muhanga are second with 19 points following their win over Heroes FC at Kicukiro ground on Saturday.
