As we celebrate the arrival of the festive season, it posses a serious turning point in relationships and lives for some. This is a time when people make the so called new Year resolutions.

Final decisions to iveWhile many are celebrating love within their livesgood love relationships others could be mourning the loss of their loved oneshaving lost loved ones because of that slight mistake they did unintentionally. Did you know that simple gifts could win you back that beloved one?

In most cases, people have had the wrong perception regarding aboutgifts. Am sure you have we have heard of some who regard gifts as a s a way of wastage of ing money or even as a wicked thing way for their spouses to misuse their money.

While many shun gifts because of the many myths around them, others treasure gifts and they are regarded the best way to mend a broken relationship.

Gifts, especially unones that weren’t expected ones,is a sure signal that one is actually treasured by the other.some one treasures them"I pardoned my girlfriend after she gave me a gift, I suddenly felt loved which made me forget all our differences,” says Bosco Mitali.

Mitali had separated with his girlfriend after she apparently cheated on him with her ex-boyfriend but the gift renewed their relationship. Especially in marriages, gifts can make a real difference.

"Whenever my husband offers me a gift, it reminds me that he appreciates all the efforts I make to have things work out even in the toughest of conditions,” say Donata Uwizeye. She credits ountsher 21years in marriage on gifts.

"Whenever we  have geta misunderstanding, my husband appeases will rewardme with a gift, and it all ends,” she adds. When speaking of gifts, it’s not about how expensive they are. Many women would prefer a simple rose or perhaps a lily.

"A flower shows that I am still beautiful in my husband’s eyes hence ehnacing the feeling of being securesecure,”says’, says Felice Uwimana. 

Relationships are sustained by honouring those things that you have always under looked and in this case simple gifts is worth a good effort.

"The day before he proposed to me, he brought me a wrapped chocolate bar, I can never forget it,” says Uwimana.

If you can afford a big gift then go for it but if not why not look for a simple one? It’s all about being genuine to your partner and the kind of gift you’ll offer will truly portray it. Meanwhile, some people are so addicted to gifts that missing a set from our loved ones would simply be tragic.

"If my girl friend doesn’t send me a Christmas day gift, I will definitely know something is just not right ”says Mitali. Before we know it, this gift thing leaves us no option other than being involvingbut to get into in it.

"Just seal that Christmas card or any other gift and see the difference it will make,” assures Uwimana.

After all, God gave the world his only son Jesus Christ as a gift, and hence a reason as to why we live to celebrate this season each year.
