"This is an institutional activity which we expect to announce in April (2024) during the party congress. It will also be time for us to celebrate the achievements that have been gained in the past mandate."
Abdallah Utumatwishima, the RPF commissioner in charge of political mass mobilization said that the party will be seeking for candidates with the capacity to implement the party's manifesto for Rwandans.
"We therefore call upon cadres to take the exercise with the deserved seriousness.”
The upcoming elections will be jointly held following the merger of the presidential and parliamentary polls through the amendment of the national electoral law.
