November 2005, when I became a father.

What is your greatest fear?

Shedding a human being’s blood.

What is your earliest memory?

Being naughty at home and fighting with children in our neighbourhood.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

2004, when I was still a striker for APR and I missed a goal.

What is your most unappealing habit?

Telling lies.

What is your favourite word?

"Inka yanjye!”  A Kinyarwanda exclamation meaning, (My cow).

What is the worst job you have ever done?

(Quick as a flash) None! I have never been involved in any field apart from soccer.

When is the closest you have come to death?

During the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Becoming a professional footballer. This has been my dream from childhood.

What keeps you awake at night?

When someone in my family is unwell.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

Developing goals and striving to achieve them.

Valens Muvara, a former Kiyovu FC star.

B-club of course. I love sophisticated stuff!

Under what circumstances can you fight?

When someone provokes me…there I prove it right that I’m not just excellent at booting balls.

What are your plans after retiring?

(Pauses) Starting my own business.
