Rapper Emery Gatsinzi, commonly known as Riderman, rocked concert goers at the launch of his latest ‘Filime’ mixtape on Monday at Petit Stade, Remera. The concert was graced by several artistes including the likes of PGGSS 2 winner King James, former Tusker Project Fame contestant Gabiro, Queen Cha, Jay C, Jack B, Khalfan, Burundian female rapper Miss Erica, RnB rising star Yvery, Marina and Amani Murerwa Hakizimana, a.k.a P-Fla.

Action kicked off at 7.30 pm, with MCs Kate Gustave and Bryan, inviting Sebeya Band to perform.
The Nyundo music pioneers performed some of the tunes by Reggae legend Lucky Dube before Jack B was welcomed on stage to entertain revelers with his latest hit ‘Diaspora’.
He was followed by rapper Khlafan who received a standing ovation after performing some of his songs, including Nabibonye Ugiye and Too Much.
The rapper was at some point joined by Marina to perform the duo’s collabo Love which drew cheers from the crowd.
After the exciting curtain raising performances, it was time for Riderman to hit the stage.
He performed a couple of songs on his latest ‘Filime’ mixt tape, like Icumu Ryanjye, Wancitse Vuga, a collabo with Bruce Melodie, Ndakumirwa and Holo.
Fresh from a recent tour in the USA, the RnB singer gave a befitting performance and unveiled the video of his brand new track Hari Ukuntu, which was produced in USA.
He later performed more tracks like Ndagutegereje, Umuriro Watse and Nyuma Yawe, most of which the audience enjoyed and danced along.
The highlight of the concert was the appearance of P-Fla, the former drug addict who spent a year in prison over drug abuse.
Clad in a red t-shirt and a white pair of shorts with matching red sneakers, his performance drew a mixture of emotions from fans. P-Fla performed some of his old tracks to mark an official comeback to the industry with fresh ambitions.
After P-Fla’s emotional performance, Riderman returned on stage to conclude what was a night of breathtaking perfomances. He performed Uburyohe, ‘Inyuguti ya R’ and new track Urugamba, which features Bruce Melodie.
To close the show, the hip hop singer thanked his wife for supporting him before cutting a cake which he shared with fans. The show ended a few minutes past midnight.
