Le Belvedere Restaurant Taverne is situated in the heart of the city near city council offices opposite BCR main branch.

The restaurant has wooden floorboards, tastefully furnished, all modern conveniences, vast TV, stereo system, very quiet and classy dining room. It’s in walking distance to a car park, shopping points, cafe centres, and also very close to public transport.

Indeed Le Belvedere Restaurant Taverne is strategically positioned to all business people that spend most of their time in the city centre.

Its unique setting and decorations that showcase the interior make it a place that suits all people’s interests with different standards.

They offer services that you can’t easily find in town with the thrilling generosity rendered by the skilled working staff. They have friendly but not intrusive neighbours, quiet neighbourhood and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Clientele

They are basically busy working class of bankers, foreigners, and those working with the ministry of finance. Their dialogue is always centred on matters concerning business. But foreigners from the Democratic Republic of Congo really make up most of the more permanent clients.

Menu

They prepare a delicious buffet which runs from Monday up to Friday at a cut-price of Frw2,000. It is usually enjoyed by people who come to the bank to make transactions.

The cold starter has vegetable salads, avocado salad and tomato salad. Hot starter includes spinach soup, chicken soup, and mushroom on toast and cheese croquet.

Fish dishes have tilapia fillet with vegetables, filet de tilapia menniera, and capitaine filet with green pepper. Meat dish has escalope cordon blac, tournedos King Georges / beef fillet with sauce and grilled steak.

Also chicken leg curry, bond chicken with green paper, chicken pieces with mushrooms, spaghetti bolognaise, grilled fish, beef kebab, pork, zingalo garnie, and brochette de poisson garnie/ fish are served with fruit salad, pineapple soat and assiette de fruit de saison.

Working staff

They are dedicated to render selfless services to customers, and almost everyone speaks French, English, Swahili, and of course Kinyarwanda. This solves problems of language that other service providers dealing in the same could be having.

The Bar

Fruit juices and syrups include citron presse, ananas, presse, nectar de maracuja, sirop de grenadine, menthe maracuja orange. Gentile (jus d’dorange, sirop de menthey and grenadine), smile juice (jus d’dorage, maracuja, ananas sirop-de grenadine).

All the local beer brands are available plus some imported ones like Bell Lager from Uganda. Freshly made juices like apple, carrots, pineapple and many more are also served.

Their bar is well-stocked bar with different types of wine which includes Chardonnay-Domaine berg on vine de, Sauvignon-domaine pays doc France.

Merlot Domaine berg on vin de pays doc France, cabernet sauvignon dom berg on vin de pays doc. Rose wine is mates Portugal. Open wines are pichet carafe-25cl and pichet carafe-50cl.
