The Chief of Staff of the People's National Army of Algeria (ANPA), Army General Saïd Chanegriha, arrived in Rwanda for an official visit on Monday, February 19.

On Tuesday, among others, the Chief of Defence Staff of Algeria is scheduled to visit Kigali Genocide Memorial, the Campaign Against Genocide Museum at Parliament, and Rwanda Defence Force Headquarters where he will hold meetings with senior Rwandan defence officials.

In September 2022, former Rwanda Defence Force Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen Jean Bosco Kazura, embarked on a three-day official visit to Algeria where he, among others, held bilateral talks with his Counterpart, Chengriha, in the context of defence cooperation between the RDF and ANPA.
