Rwandan internationals Yves Mutabazi and Placide Madison Sibomana have joined the Jordan side Al Awdeh Youth Club, each on a one-year contract, the national team head coach Paul Bitok has confirmed.

"It is great news always when we get such opportunities for our young players. We thank the Ministry of Sports for giving us good exposure through participating in several competitions; this gives chance to our players to be noticed by big clubs in the world,” Bitok told Saturday Sport.

The Kenyan tactician added that, "We have opportunities now open for other young players like Herve Martial Inkoramutima, Prince Kanamugire and Ronald Muvara; We are just waiting for them to finish exams.”

Both Mutabazi and Sibomana have been influential players in national team.

Mutabazi joins Al Awdeh Youth Club from APR VC, while Sibomana had only signed for local league club Rwanda Energy Group (REG) two months ago.

Rwanda’s other professional players include; Christophe Mukunzi currently with Saudi Arabian side Al-Mouj VC, Lawrence Yakan Guma, who plays for Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler in Japan and Fred Musoni, who recently signed a one-year contract extension with Finland first division side Liiga Riento, until the May, 2018.
