Kids News: Famous musicians come to Kigali

On December 5th and 13th 2008, Kigali hosted two high class Jamaican musicians for the first time. Sean Paul and Shaggy entertained fans with their music at Amahoro National Stadium. They were invited by Rwandatel and MTN Rwanda respectively.

On December 5th and 13th 2008, Kigali hosted two high class Jamaican musicians for the first time. Sean Paul and Shaggy entertained fans with their music at Amahoro National Stadium. They were invited by Rwandatel and MTN Rwanda respectively.

Sean Paul thrilled the huge crowd of people who turned up for the show. He performed with other popular musicians like Kidumu of Burundi, Kofi Olomide of the Democratic of Congo and Bebe Cool of Uganda.

Sean Paul spoke out and said he had fallen in love with Rwanda and he even promised to come again.

Shaggy also performed well and said he was happy to be in Rwanda. He promised to give a helping hand to improve Rwandan music to international standards.
