APR 93-52 Inspired Generation
Point guard Jean-Jacques Wilson Nshobozwabyosenumukiza scored 20 points as APR ran away with a dominant 93-52 win over Inspired Generation in Rwanda Basketball League.
Nshobozwa was in electric form which took Lycée Kigali Gymnasium by storm thanks to his 20 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Adonis Filer and Ntore Habimana added 18 and 15 points respectively as the army side maintained their perfect start to the league campaign.

APR enjoyed a flying start to the game, winning two opening quarters 24-13 and 25-14 to go into halftime leading 49-27.
Returning for the second half, Mazen Trakh’s men continued where they stopped in the first half, claiming the third quarter 24-11 and the final quarter 20-14 to comfortably register their second win in as many games.

APR will now take a break from the domestic basketball league as they travel to Qatar on February 19, where they will have a 10-day training camp during which they will play buildup games in preparation for the regular season of the 2024 Basketball Africa League.
The Rwandan champions were drawn in the Sahara Conference alongside Tunisia’s US Monastir, Nigeria’s Rivers Hoopers and Senegal’s AS Douanes.
Rwanda Basketball League action resumes on Sunday, February 18, when Kepler host Kigali Titans at 2pm at Kepler court.
