Ghanaian winger Samuel Pimpong stole the show as his double silenced Nyagatare Stadium and helped Mukura Victory Sports to register 4-2 away win over Sunrise FC on Saturday, February 17.
Both teams were even until Pimpong broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute to put the visitors ahead. The winger beat his marker with pace before calmly controlling a cross on his chest and firing it through goalkeeper Didier Mfashingabo's legs for the opener.
After recess, Emmanuel Nsabimana, who was leading Mukura's frontline, doubled the lead in the 64th minute as the Huye-based side took control of the game.
Mukura’s celebrations were short-lived by Yafesi Mubiru who scored two goals in five minutes (73rd and 78th) to restore parity for Sunrise FC.
