For only Rwf6,000, Anactet Mugiraneza, a Kimironko-based welder, is now an owner of brand new motorcycle, thanks to the ongoing Airtel Tunga promotion.

The 20-year-old was, on Friday, announced the eighth winner of the promo after garnering 1.36 million points last week. Like most of the previous winners, Mugiraneza plans to use the motorcycle for taxi moto business.

"This way, I will be able to expand my income streams and improve my living standards,” he said after receiving the bike keys and documents at the Airtel Service Centre in Kimironko.

"I am excited that I did not spend much money but was able to win a brand new motorcycle that came with insurance cover for three months,” Mugiraneza said.

Four motorcycles and a car are still up for grabs in the next five weeks of Airtel Tunga promotion.

How to participate in the promotion

To participate in the promotion, Airtel customers can send an SMS with the digit ‘1’ to 155, follow prompts and answer the questions. One can, alternatively, call 155 to follow the instructions. Either way, a customer needs to answer the questions to earn points.

For each right response, the customer gets 100 points while a wrong one earns a consolation 50 points.
