Dear Editor,

I would like to request the management of Ecobank to be open to the public especially their esteemed customers. I am a student at one of the Universities in the country and now that I am in my final year, I thought it best to carry out my research study in an organisation that I am more familiar with especially with reference to banking.

I clearly wrote to management of Ecobank and they happened to agree after all it is a simple study. It however beats my understanding that the officials that work for this bank are instead too confidential about simple issues that should help me finalise my study as fast as my classmates.

It is very disappointing, therefore I think, it is either better for the bank to reject research proposals or to help us do what we are supposed to do. Otherwise it is not good to treat customers or students like this.

We do not have all that money to run around hunting for officials who will also bounce us back to the people consulted initially. Such a continuous cycle of rejection is unacceptable!
