National and Zone V champions, APR were put to the sword on the opening day of the 23rd Fiba-Africa Men’s Club Championship in Sousse, Tunisia.
Cliff Owuor’s Indomitable Lions crumbled to a massive 92-55 defeat against host side Etoile du Sahel on Friday. It was a jagged display from the Zone 5 Club Champions who are drawn in Group A, the fairer of the two groups (A and B).
Kano Pillars of Nigeria also picked up their first win of the competition after a 67-42 win over Swallows of Togo.
