Commonwealth Secretary-General to visit Rwanda
The Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Baroness Scotland, is expected in Kigali today (Thursday). During the course of her visit she is expected to meet with President Kagame and other Ministers, as well as attend the ‘Cricket Builds Hope Tournament’ and the official opening of the Gahanga Cricket Stadium over the weekend, according to a statement from the Commonwealth Secretariat.

The Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Baroness Scotland, is expected in Kigali today (Thursday). During the course of her visit she is expected to meet with President Kagame and other Ministers, as well as attend the ‘Cricket Builds Hope Tournament’ and the official opening of the Gahanga Cricket Stadium over the weekend, according to a statement from the Commonwealth Secretariat.
This will be the Secretary-General’s first official trip to Rwanda, and she is very much looking forward to seeing the country, as well as discussing the importance of the Commonwealth and how it will continue to provide support going forward, the statement said.
