Police Football Club head coach Innocent Seninga has challenged his players to win one of the two trophies on offer this season if the club is to cement its status as one of the big ‘boys.’

The law enforcers are second on the league table with 6 points from 3 games, one point behind leaders APR. Police started the season on a low note after losing to Etincelles 3-1 but recovered to beat Mukura and Amagaju respectively.

"I have 3 targets this season and one of them is winning the league championship or Peace Cup,” Seninga said adding that his other targets are developing a player who can play in Europe, and Police producing this season’s top scorer.

Police striker Isaie Songa is the top scorer with 4 goals in just three games, and Seninga is confident his forward will continue with his early-season form.

Seninga joined Police last season on a one year deal and guided the team to a second place finish in the league, something that saw the club reward him with a new 3-year contract this season.
