Dear editor,

I am very grateful to the Ministry of Commerce for doing whatever it takes to protect fuel consumers from paying highly for the commodity.

It is absurd that the pipeline maintenance process has forced fuel prices in the region to go up but Rwandan consumers can still purchase at Rwf 756 per litre at pumping stations.

We are really happy about this decision and thank our government for the move.
