Telugu Royals Cricket Club all-rounder Ivan Mitali has promised that they will go boldly against Challenges in the semi-final of this year’s Computer Point T20 tournament due on Sunday at Kicukiro cricket oval.

Both sides face off in the second semi-final which will be preceded by the clash between Kigali Cricket Club and Right Guards that starts at 9am.

Telugu defeated Impala Titans and RCA Development Cricket Clubs respectively to set up a date with Challenges in Pool A, while Challengers beat Vikings and Rights Guards as well as Indorwa in Pool B on the way to the last four.

Telugu’s Mitali, who was named the man of the match after scoring 50 runs against Impala Titans in the previous match, says they will leave no stone unturned in their bid for victory against Challengers.

"Having gained momentum in the last two games, we are confident about our chances to reach the final. We are ready to take on Challengers and we’re determined to win the title” Mitali said on Saturday.

He added that; "Challengers have not defeated us in any competition in the last two years, which alone gives us the edge going into the game on Sunday.”

Challengers will not be a walk-over especially if their key players Subhasis Samal and Zappy Bimenyimana are on top of their game.
