Socialite Shaddy Boo linked to Diamond Platnumz

It seems Diamond Platnumz is getting more famous for scandalous issues than music.

The rumour mill is buzzing with reports of an affair between the celebrated Tanzanian musician and Rwandan socialite Shaddy Boo, real name Shadia Mbabazi.

Shaddy Boo was recently among the people who attended Diamond’s 28th birthday in Tanzania, a celebration which the artiste’s own partner, Ugandan socialite and businesswoman, Zari, missed. The Rwandan celebrity’s presence sparked discussion on various social media platforms about the connection between the two.

Rumour has it that Shaddy and Diamond got ‘close’ when the artiste came to the country for the annual Fiesta Concert which was held at Golden Tulip Hotel in Nyamata a few months ago. Photos of a shirtless Diamond seated next to Shaddy Boo then circulated on social media.

The controversy surrounding Diamond’s infidelity started when video vixen Hamisa Mobetto said she was pregnant with the artiste’s child. As it turns out, the allegation was true. And just before the dust settled regarding that scandal, a Burundian lady came out to say that the artiste had also sired twins with her. He was also romantically linked to Big Brother Africa - The Chase winner, Dillish Mathews.

However, neither Shaddy nor Diamond has come out to address the allegations but like they say, the truth always comes out. We will keep an ear on the ground.

Also, Zari and Diamond might be heading for a breakup that is if the socialite’s recent actions are anything to go by.

We are told that Zari announced on her Snapchat account: No more validation of guys on social media only for them to make you look like a fool.

We have learnt that Zari has ‘erased’ Diamond out of her life as she deleted all her recent photos with the artiste off her Instagram account. This comes days after she refused to be part of his birthday celebrations. It remains to be seen if this is merely a rough patch in their relationship, or they are done for good. Do we hear wedding bells? We are told that former Miss Rwanda 2017 contestant, Belinda Umutoni Uwase, might be getting married. Snoops tell us that Umutoni was officially introduced to her in-laws at a function that took place in Kigali. Together with her boyfriend, Theo Gakire Ntarugera of Select Kalaos, a popular company that specialises in design, printing and branding, Umutoni decided on keeping a low profile until they get married officially. When that will be is anyone’s guess. We will keep you posted.

Davido linked to mysterious death of a friend

Things took a rare turn for Davido who has gone from being celebrated for his music and large following on Instagram, to being linked to the death of a friend named Tagbo.

It appears that the social media platform is his ‘Achilles heel’ based on a series of allegations made by actress Caroline Danjuma, accusing the pop star of abandoning the deceased at an undisclosed hospital.

Danjuma assured the singer that the event will be a tough one to sweep under the rug as she was ready to match him pound for pound. She was, however, more interested in uncovering what led to the demise of Tagbo who was celebrating his birthday on the day of his death.

The pop star is yet to release a statement explaining his involvement in the tragedy which occurred on Monday. His mind appears firmly focused on the "30 Billion African Tour”, the subject of his last post on Instagram.

Family lawyer speaks out on P-Square breakup woes

A Senior Advocate in Nigeria, Festus Keyamo, who is the family lawyer of the famous P-Square group, has released an official statement on the ongoing crisis between the Okoye brothers.

The lawyer has said their wives are not responsible for the on-going feud between the twins.

In a statement on Wednesday, Keyamo revealed that the wives have kept their respectable and dignified distances from all the issues involved. He said; "None of these talented brothers is at fault. None of them is also wholly justified and correct in their individual positions. We also wish to state categorically that, contrary to widely held opinions, none of their wives is at fault. In fact, the wives have kept their respectable and dignified distances from all the issues involved. They have never interfered in any way.”

While responding to the recent leaked video online, Keyamo said the chambers are not responsible for the leak and would uphold the confidentiality of their disagreements.

"Our attention has been drawn to the on-going feud between the brothers in online, print and electronic media. We have also been inundated with calls from the media to authenticate the correspondence Peter Okoye sent to our office, indicating his intention to terminate the contract between the brothers for various reasons and the online video showing a purported scuffle between the brothers in our Chambers. Keyamo further called on Nigerians to grant the Okoye family the privacy, prayers and support that they need at these trying times, adding that nobody’s life is at risk.

"We also want to state that whilst all the three brothers may have genuine grievances, nobody’s life is at risk. All the various incidents that happened in our Chambers (some as late at 12 midnight and 2am and one of which was captured in the online video) arose out of various meetings that were genuine attempts at resolving their differences.”

Safi Madiba’s ex-girlfriend in social media rant

Safi ‘Madiba’ Niyibokora, a third of the trio Urban Boyz, is currently on his honeymoon in Zanzibar. Whereas this should be a blissful time for him and his wife, the couple is dealing with one problem – Safi’s ex!

Parfine Umutesi, the artiste’s ex-girlfriend, is not happy. When Safi surprised people with his wedding which took place just last weekend, Umutesi was busy cursing the singer and his wife.

Safi was in a relationship with Umutesi until they broke up after two years. It is said that Safi chose to part ways with her because he didn’t see a future with a woman who kept promising to get a divorce from her husband at the time.

All hell broke loose when the artiste got married, Umutesi made allegations that Safi is not one to settle down and revealed more about their relationship than fans cared to know. She is currently facing backlash on social media with most people calling her bitter.
