AFTER being out of action for a long time due to injury, Amavubi and APR midfielder Andrew Buteera has said he has fully recovered and is fit to play again at the top level.

Buteera featured for Amavubi U17 in the 2011 World Cup which was staged in Maxico, but he got a knee injury during the CECAFA 2012 competition held in Tanzania, and since then he has been struggling to regain his full fitness.

The whole of last season he was out of action due to the knee injury, but now he claims he has come back stronger than ever. The Amavubi midfielder has lately been training with APR full time.

"I am feeling good now and hope to make a strong come back, I have been treated quite well, I hope to be on top again,” Buteera told Times Sport.

He added that he can now play a full game and hopes to play at the top for club and national team.

During the Super Cup match against Rayon Sports Buteera came on as a substitute for Maxime Sekamana in the 40th minute.

Buteera joined APR FC after the 2011 FIFA U17 World Cup in Mexico where Rwanda made a debut. His contract runs out at the end of the 2018.
