Musician Mani Martin is set to rock Rubavu in a tour aimed at promoting his latest Afro album from September 30 to November 4. The pop music and R&B prodigy has already released five albums including the latest Afro. On the tour, he will be joined by YembaVoice, Nyundo Music School Band, The Same and Kalidy.
Musician Mani Martin is set to rock Rubavu in a tour aimed at promoting his latest Afro album from September 30 to November 4.
The pop music and R&B prodigy has already released five albums including the latest Afro. On the tour, he will be joined by YembaVoice, Nyundo Music School Band, The Same and Kalidy.
The tour will kick off at University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies (UTB) Rubavu Campus, and end at Kigali Serena Hotel on November 4.
The 15-song Afro album includes songs like Afro, Akagezi Akagezi ka Mushoroza, Rubanda, Karibagiza and Same Room, among others.
During the tour, the artistes will perform some of their favourite songs, along with fans in a unique atmosphere. They will also share many of the powerful stories that have come as a result of these songs. Tickets will go for Rwf10, 000 ordinary and 15,000 VIP. All VIP tickets will include a free Afro album CD.
The the Urukumbuzi star said that he intends to include some of his newest collaborations with Eddie Kenzo and Sauti Sol on this album. Mani Martin came to the limelight in 2010, and he has several major music awards under his belt. Some of his most popular songs include My Destiny, Valentino, Urukumbuzi, Umumararungu, Ngenera and Ituro, among others.
