Gospel music fans are in for a treat this weekend. Healing Centre Church in Remera will host a free gospel concert on Sunday, September 24.

Dubbed "Hearts at Worship”, the concert is organised by Urugero Media Group, and Dinah Uwera will headline the evening’s entertainment at 4 p.m. Her most popular worship songs include Says the Lord and Icyo umbwira among others.

Entrance is free, and concert organisers urge gospel music lovers to come in huge numbers to experience the miracle power of God in their lives.

Rene Patrick known for songs like Arankunda, Arsene Tuyiringire from Evangelical Restoration Church, Bosco Niyonshuti and Clever Tuyizere, are also expected to perform. "Most of the times, people attend musician’s concerts to see the potential of an artiste, to be entertained, but for me, I hope to see the holy spirit working within the people who will attend. I want them to go home with a difference in their hearts,” said Uwera.

Organisers said this gospel concert is a way to keep the community together, and help people know God through music.
