Mukura coach Ali Bizimungu has gone on his club administration to invest more in the forthcoming transfer window in order to close the loopholes in his defence.

Speaking to Times Sport after Mukura’s 2-0 loss at the hands of champions Atraco Fc on Wednesday, Bizimungu said that his team lacks defensive stamina.

Bizimungu who made his name at Atraco as a number two to Sam Ssimbwa admitted that there is a sign of chronic exhaustion in his defenders and that the team need to bring in some defenders during the break after the first round that concludes this weekend.

Atraco goals coming from Lomami Jean and Hamisi Kitagenda have dented Mukura chances of finishing amongst top teams at least for the first round.

Mukura has no win in the previous four consecutive league meetings and the crisis may turn into a disastrous if the Huye based out fit do not bring in reinforcements before the commencement of the second round.

Before their 2-0 loss to Atraco, Mukura had made three consecutive draws against Kibuye, Police and La Jeunesse.

Bizimungu points out that their 2-2 draw against Police at Huye stadium was a typical manifestation of defensive weakness as the Huye club twice came from behind to equalize in each half.
