The purpose of SDG 5 is to make sure that all women and all girls are equal to men, everywhere in the world. Even though some countries like Rwanda have made progress in gender equality, there is always more that we can do. For example, we can make sure women and girls have equal job opportunities, or even that we say no if we notice someone being violent or mean to a girl.
Give us your best examples of gender equality in Rwanda and in other countries! Send us your ideas at childrentimes@newtimes.co.rw and you could win a prize.
