Dear Editor,
I learnt recently that Rwanda air Express is planning to open up new routes to Dar es Salaam, Addis Abbaba, Mwanza, Lusaka and Kinshasa, by next year. This is timely.
Many passengers at times fail to connect to different destinations, partly because there are few flights that are always fully booked.
The new routes will put Rwandair’s destinations to a total of fourteen in a period of six years since its inauguration in December 2002 and this is a great achievement because it will be a solution to problems related to the increasing demand for air transport.
We are also glad that as the demand for air transport increases, so are the services. However, it is important to take a lot of care while purchasing these aircrafts now that Rwandair is undergoing an aggressive and ambitious fleet acquisition to serve the new destinations.
Remember customer safety should be key in the airline business.
