The Tigo Rwanda ‘Imvura y’Amafaranga’ promotion has enabled Rwandans to improve their lives, invest and expand their businesses, Yaw Ankoma Agyapong, the chief commercial officer at Tigo Rwanda, has said.
The official was, yesterday, updating reporters on the progress of the promotion in Kigali, where he also presented the Rwf8 million monthly cash prize winner, Gilbert Habakurema, from Gicumbi District in Northern Province.
Habakurema won the money on Wednesday August 30. The small trader beat three other competitors to the cash money. He will use the prize money to construct a new house for his family.
"This money is timely… I had already got a house plan, but did not have money to implement the project. So, it is going to help me build my dream house,” he said.
