Amagaju FC head coach Amars Niyongabo has said that he trusts his defence can stop in-form Heritier Luvumbu when his side welcomes Rayon Sports at Huye Stadium on Wednesday, February 7.

Luvumbu has been in top form for the Blues during the Primus National League, contributing nine goals and six assists so far this season.
He may again pose a big threat to Amagaju FC ahead of Wednesday’s clash but Niyongabo said his team is more focused on dealing with the team than just one player.
"Luvumbu is a dangerous player, currently in good form, and we are aware of his ability to influence the game. However, to be honest, we don't have any specific plans to deal with him," Niyongabo told Times Sport.
"Football is a collective game. Rayon has many good players and, if you focus too much on Luvumbu, someone else can punish you. We will attack and defend as a team instead of focusing on just one player."
Amagaju FC held Rayon Sports to a 1-1 draw in the first round of the league match held at Kigali Pele Stadium in September 2023 and Niyongabo has tasked his team to beat the Blues in the return game at Huye Stadium.
"Rayon is a big club, but we are ready to face them and hope for a victory at home. If we managed to get a draw in Kigali, why not a victory at home?" the Burundian tactican said.
