EIGHT local volleyball clubs have confirmed their participation in the 21st NSSF KAVC International Volleyball Championship on 19th and 20th 2017 at Lugogo Indoor Stadium as well as Namboole and Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Nakawa in Kampala.

The teams that have confirmed to take part in the tournament are Rwanda Revenue Authority, defending champions, University of Kibungo (UNIK), Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC), University of Tourism Technology and Business Studies (UTB), Gisagara, Rwanda Energy Group (REG), APR men and women.

The foreign teams expected to participate in the two-day tournament include Muzinga and Rukinzo from Burundi, Kenya Administration Police, Prisons, Corporative Bank and Nairobi City Council.

The number of teams taking part is expected to increase to about 36 from the 22 that competed last year..
