Iraqi top flight side Al-Shorta SC have completed the signing of centreback Salomon Bindjeme Banga from APR FC on an undisclosed fee.
Bindjeme, 28, joined APR FC in July 2023 from Sudanese outfit Al Hilal but he has struggled for playing time under coach Thierry Froger before a deal from Al Shorta came.
The army side officially bid farewell to the Cameroonian defender who is looking forward to embarking on a new adventure in the Irapi Premier League in Asia.
"Farewell and best wishes to Salomon Banga Bindjeme as he embarks on his new journey with Al-Shorta SC in Iraq. Thank you for your contributions to APR FC, and may your time with your new club be filled with success and fulfillment on the field," the club posted via its social media.
Bindjeme becomes the second APR player to be transferred this window after Innocent Nshuti moved to American third tier side Knoxville FC.
