RPF-Inkotanyi presidential flag bearer and incumbent, Paul Kagame has urged Rwandans to foster unity and work towards common goals as this would be the ultimate tool to nurture sustainable development agenda in the country.
Kagame said this at a campaign rally in Nyagatare district, in the Eastern Province. He held four successive rallies in three different districts on day 9 of the presidential campaign tour.
The President said Rwanda has made what seemed like unimaginable progress in the last 23 years.
He added that RPF working alongside Rwandans was fundamental in building Rwanda from nothing to where it is today.
"When you look back where Nyagatare was 23 years back, it is testimony of what we can achieve with good governance and unity
"We have our date set. August 4. Vote for the RPF candidate for continued progress, unity, security and good governance. We can achieve all these and much more if we continue to work together," Kagame added.
Nyagatare district is also known for being the place where the Liberation war that stopped the Genocide against the Tutsi was launched.
After two rallies in Nyagatare, the RPF Chairman also held two more in Gatsibo and Kayonza districts.
